WHAT IS WINDROSE?
WINDROSE, stands for Wind Rose, is a reactive web application used to produce a wind rose in a shape of polar bar chart. This chart is a graphic tool used to give a succinct view and visualize of how wind speed and direction are typically distributed at a particular location.
All historical and current data are from METAR archives available from Iowa Environmental Mesonet website.
Data is synced from the real-time ingest every 10 minutes.
Date and time is standardized in UTC, the airport wind speed is in knots units and wind direction in degrees from north.

WINDROSE is a reactive wind rose diagram which help user to better understanding their results.
